PRAYING FOR AND WITH YOUR FAMILY

We are all part some family.  Being a part of family can empower you to fulfill your purpose in life.  The more you are nurtured and guided by your family, the greater opportunities you have to be empowered to achieve the things you are most gifted to do.

There are many ways you can love and  empower your family to experience healthy relationships and life experiences.  I will be sharing with you six ways to help your family members to live complete and fulfilled lives as they were born to experience.

PRAYING FOR AND WITH YOUR FAMILY

Today want to share one way to love and empower your family is through prayer.  Prayer is one of the greatest weapons at your disposal.  Prayer is simply talking with God.  Prayer is not just making requests of God, but also includes listening to God.  Just as you have things to talk with God about, He also has many things to talk with you about.

Praying for and with your family has great power.  But what things should you pray to God about for your family?  Please consider the following;

Wisdom

Ask God to give them His wisdom to make the right choices in every situation.  The world is filled so many temptations and distractions that could easily lead your family members to make the wrong choices.

Courage

Not only does your family need God’s wisdom to make the right choices, but they also need courage to act on what God tells them are the right things to do.  In their desire to be liked and accepted in their respective social circles they will need courage to stand for their convictions to make the right choices.

Strength

Finally, pray that God will grant them strength to endure all of life’s challenges, disappointments, and heartaches.  Ask God to strengthen inwardly so they don’t abort the great plan that God has for their life.

The more you talk with God about your family, the more you will begin to experience the source of strength, wisdom and courage you need that will help you to face all of life’s joys and challenges.  Find a time in your day and week to pray individually and with your family.  As you pray individually and with your family, trust that God will hear and speak to you no matter what the situation your family encounters.he
